SMALL VILLAGE CHARM

Ravensworth is a peaceful village located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The village is mainly situated around a Village Green, with some properties slightly further away. We have a view of the valley that offers stunning vistas across the hillside opposite. Ravensworth also boasts a 14th-century castle, which was used by locals to build some of the houses in the 16th century. Although the castle is now in private ownership and cannot be visited, the view from the village green is worth checking out.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Our property is situated in the Holme Valley in the Yorkshire Dales and is easily accessible by road and public transport. There are walking trails right from our doorstep. We are just minutes away from the Yorkshire Dales National Park and less than an hour from the Lake District National Park. This location offers plenty of options for walkers and cyclists, and there is excellent car access to the stunning scenery if you prefer a more relaxed approach.

SMALL VILLAGE,
BIG HISTORY

Ravensworth has ancient origins dating back to the time of Viking settlements. For those who are interested, there are many fascinating facts and stories about Ravensworth. Notably, it is home to our very own Grade 1 listed 14th-century castle, the remains of which can still be seen today.
